Albertus E. Jones (1882-1957) lived in Connecticut and was mostly active in his state of residence. He is a well-known painter of landscapes who studied under Noel Flagg and was also a WPA artist. He exhibited widely and won awards in Connecticut during the first half of the 20th century.
